Caterpillar Switchgear is growing rapidly and the systems and processes necessary to support this growth need to be evaluated for improvement. This role will implement complex organizational change initiatives to systems and processes that enable the organization to achieve greater performance. This role requires an individual to work across the organization to identify areas for improvement and work with corporate teams to drive the improvements across the matrix organization.

Domestic travel up to 25%

This position is currently in office on-site 5 days per week.

What you will do:
Conduct needs analysis and impact assessment to determine the most effective approach for implementing change.
Provide consultation and recommendations to stakeholders to manage organizational change.
Influence and lead people to adoption of the organizations change initiatives to attain business results.
Carry out organizational change programs and activities and ensuring consistent and timely execution of change implementation plans.

Data Gathering & Analysis: Working knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools techniques and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion goal or judgment.
Follows proper data gathering and analysis processes and policies.
Reports problems that arise in the data collection process.
Participates in gathering and analyzing an organizations data based on requirements.
Documents data from various sources and in various formats.

Conflict Management: Extensive knowledge of managing conflicts; ability to anticipate recognize and deal effectively with existing or potential conflicts at the individual group or situation level.
Mediates and resolves conflicts among individuals groups and departments.
Practices positive collaboration and converts difficult interactions into productive ones.
Guides participants in a conflict to rethink their current views.
Demonstrates good judgment in deciding when to involve a third party.
Surfaces disagreements in early stages.

Dealing with Disorder: Extensive knowledge in the importance of moving forward with less than perfect information; ability to adapt flexibly and comfortably adapt in the face of volatility uncertainty complexity and ambiguity.
Easily shifts gears and quickly changes course as new information becomes available.
Handles complex situations in which there are a great number of cues and/or stakeholder interests to be taken into account.
Coaches staff on moving between and among tasks and activities without having to finish each one.

Relationship Management: Extensive knowledge in relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients vendors and peers.
Communicates to clients regarding expectations of all parties.
Participates in negotiating the terms of the business relationship.
Conducts periodic reviews of work effort progress issues and successes.
Creates opportunities to educate support teams on client priorities.

Communicating for Impact: Extensive knowledge of the concepts tools and techniques for effective listening and communicating; ability to apply these theories to receive transmit and accurately interpret information and ideas to influence others in various situations.

Interprets business plans or solutions to top management to gain both collective intelligence and support.
Coaches others on improving their own communication methods and techniques.
Stays informed on proven best practices for effective listening and communication skills.

Planning and Organizing: Extensive knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way.
Updates stakeholders on potential changes; re-negotiates requirements as necessary.
Identifies the critical goals and tasks required to meet daily objectives.
Develops contingency plans or to improve processes and to avoid problems before they occur.
Evaluates linkages and interrelationships when prioritizing multiple responsibilities.
Manages conflicting priorities effectively.
Tracks the implementation of plans closely to ensure that desired outcomes are achieved.

Organizational Change Mgmt.: Extensive knowledge of techniques to successfully effect change in an organization and ability to manage the successful and smooth transition from current to desired culture practices structure and overall organizational environment.
Works with team to identify and remove obstacles to change.
Plans implements and manages change in a variety of significant settings.
Monitors effectiveness of the change effort including extent of acceptance.
Communicates impact of changes.

Summary Pay Range:

$128470.00 - $192710.00
