We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Contracts Administrator with a strong background in the commercial construction industry . This role is responsible for the preparation, negotiation, and administration of a wide range of contracts, including construction agreements and leasing contracts. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of contract terms and conditions, along with exceptional organizational and document management skills.
Prepare, review, and manage contracts related to commercial construction projects, including subcontractor agreements, vendor contracts, and lease agreements
Lead and support contract negotiations , ensuring favorable terms while mitigating risk
Interpret and apply contract terms and conditions, ensuring compliance with company policies and project requirements
Collaborate with legal, project management, and procurement teams to facilitate contract execution and issue resolution
Maintain accurate and organized contract documentation throughout the contract lifecycle
Perform legal and risk reviews of contract language, identifying potential issues and recommending revisions
Track key contract milestones, deliverables, and obligations to ensure compliance
Support change order management and contract modifications as needed
Ensure all contracts align with applicable regulations and industry standards
3+ years of experience in contract administration, preferably within commercial construction
Strong knowledge of construction contracts, leasing agreements, and terms and conditions
Proven experience in contract preparation and negotiation
Familiarity with legal terminology and contract risk assessment
Excellent organizational, documentation, and time management skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously
Effective communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
Proficiency with contract management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Legal Studies, or related field
Experience working with general contractors, developers, or construction firms
Understanding of project lifecycle in commercial construction
