Statement of Qualifications
Instructions: A Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is required in addition to the standard state application (Form STD 678). Applicants who do not submit a SOQ or address the items listed below will not be considered for an interview. The SOQ should be no more than two (2) pages in length with one (1) inch margins and in Arial 12-point font. Number each response and include your name at the top of the document. The SOQ should describe your experience, training and education that addresses the following:
1. What are the first steps you would take in your new role as the Contracts Manager?
2. Describe a time when you had to complete multiple assignments that had competing priorities. What steps did you follow, and what was the outcome?
3. Describe a contract-related project in which you were the lead. What steps did you take to ensure the project stayed on track? What was the outcome?
