Job Description

We’re looking for a conceptually strong Copywriter to support short-term creative needs across punchy, idea-driven work. This role is ideal for a writer who thrives on sharp concepts, smart headlines, and versatile tone—someone who can move effortlessly between brand voices and deliver work that lands fast and hard. This is not a long-form or content-heavy role. We need a writer who excels at short-form, high-impact copy and can bring strong ideas to the table quickly.

• Copywriter
• Duration: 8-12weeks
• Remote, NYC preferred
• Rate: $60/65hr
• Hours: 20-40hrs weekly 

Responsibilities:

• Develop concept-driven, short-form copy across a range of creative outputs

• Write punchy headlines, taglines, scripts, and campaign-level messaging

• Bring fresh ideas and creative thinking to brainstorms and work sessions

• Adapt voice and tone across different brands, audiences, and platforms

• Collaborate closely with creative partners, designers, and stakeholders

• Iterate quickly based on feedback and shifting priorities

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Copywriter with strong conceptual chops

• A portfolio that demonstrates range, punch, and idea-led thinking

• Proven strength in short-form writing (headlines, campaigns, scripts, social, brand moments)

• Ability to jump in quickly and contribute ideas from day one

• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, project-based environment

• NYC-based strongly preferred (but not required)

Nice to Have:

• Agency or in-house brand experience

• Experience concepting alongside art directors or designers

• Comfort working across multiple brands or workstreams at onc
