Dairy Farm Herd Manager needed to help grow a farmstead cheese business in Northern Vermont. Responsibilities include managing of herd health and breeding programs for a herd of registered Ayrshire cows. Along with industry leading milk quality, the herd is also a breed leader in production. Strong herd management and teamwork abilities are required. Adherence to and feedback on evolving protocols and procedures is essential. Communication with barn staff and quality personnel are key to success. Duties include milking, feeding, cleaning, and breeding cattle.
