Job Description

**Location:** LATAM (Remote)

**Language Requirement:** English (B1+ or higher)

**Employment Type:** Full-time / Contract

### **About DRIIME**

At DRIIME, we are building the future of market intelligence. We don’t just track hiring trends; we decode the "dark data" layer of the global economy. Our platform—**The Digital Registry of Integrated Intelligence for Market Evaluation (DRIIME)** —synthesizes anonymized hiring pipeline metadata, freelance economic indexes, and geographic expansion models to provide predictive analytics for institutional investors and enterprise clients.

We are seeking a meticulous Database Administrator based in LATAM to join our Data Synthesis Network. In this role, you will be the guardian of our proprietary datasets, ensuring that the real-time liquidity mapping and predictive models run on a foundation of absolute data integrity, performance, and security.

### **The Role**

As our DBA, you will manage the infrastructure that powers our **Active Signal Analysis** and **Freelance Economic Index (FEI)** . You will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of the databases that house our most valuable asset: the aggregated metadata and economic indicators that give our clients a competitive edge. You will work closely with our Data Engineering and Analytics teams to ensure that our "Integrated Registry" remains scalable, resilient, and available 24/7.

### **Key Responsibilities**

* **Performance & Scalability:** Manage and optimize PostgreSQL/MySQL databases to support high-volume ingestion of anonymized hiring pipeline data and real-time API queries for predictive analytics.
* **Data Integrity:** Implement and maintain robust backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies to protect the "dark data" layers we aggregate, ensuring zero data loss and strict adherence to ethical data handling protocols.
* **Monitoring & Alerting:** Set up and manage monitoring systems to track database health, query performance, and resource utilization, specifically focusing on the latency requirements for our Geographic Expansion Modeling.
* **Security & Compliance:** Enforce database security policies, manage user access controls (IAM), and ensure that all data handling complies with our ethical intelligence gathering standards.
* **Query Optimization:** Collaborate with backend developers to refactor and optimize SQL queries for complex analytical workloads, ensuring that our predictive models (salary compression curves, skill depreciation) execute efficiently.
* **Automation:** Script routine maintenance tasks (using Python or Shell) to automate provisioning, scaling, and patching across our cloud-native infrastructure.

### **Qualifications**

* **Experience:** 3+ years of experience as a Database Administrator, preferably in a SaaS, FinTech, or Data Analytics environment.
* **Technical Stack:** Deep expertise in **PostgreSQL**. Experience with MySQL, TimescaleDB (for time-series data), or Redis is a strong plus.
* **Cloud Proficiency:** Hands-on experience with cloud database services (AWS RDS/Aurora, Google Cloud SQL, or Azure Database).
* **Architecture Knowledge:** Understanding of high-availability architectures, replication, sharding, and data partitioning strategies.
* **Language Skills:** **English proficiency at a B1 level or higher** (Intermediate to Advanced). You will be required to communicate technical strategies and collaborate with international engineering teams.
* **Location:** Residing in LATAM (Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, etc.) with the ability to work within core business hours overlapping with US time zones.

### **Why Join DRIIME?**

* **Impact:** You won’t just be maintaining databases; you will be supporting the infrastructure that defines **predictive accuracy** for global enterprises and investors.
* **Innovation:** Work with a modern data stack focused on synthesizing complex, real-time economic signals.
* **Autonomy:** Join a team that values ownership. We are looking for someone who can identify bottlenecks and propose solutions without waiting for a ticket.
* **Remote Culture:** Fully remote position within LATAM with a focus on work-life balance and asynchronous communication.

### **How to Apply**

Please submit your resume along with a brief description of the most complex database performance issue you have solved in the last year.
