Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance demand planning, supply planning, and S&OP/IBP processes.
  • Analyze current-state workflows to identify inefficiencies, structural gaps, and systemic performance issues.
  • Redesign planning processes to improve forecast accuracy, replenishment effectiveness, supply resilience, and inventory optimization.
  • Collaborate with demand planning, supply planning, procurement, operations, finance, and IT teams to implement standardized best practices.
  • Develop and utilize performance dashboards and data analytics to identify variability drivers and planning exceptions.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to resolve planning inefficiencies and recurring issues.
  • Support deployment and optimization of advanced planning systems (APS), forecasting tools, and ERP/WMS integrations.
  • Create future-state process documentation, playbooks, and governance frameworks.
  • Partner with change management teams to drive adoption, training, and communication for new processes and technologies.
  • Support organizational transformation initiatives within supply chain planning functions.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex demand, supply, and inventory datasets.
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end demand planning, supply planning, replenishment, and inventory optimization.
  • Knowledge of key planning metrics such as forecast accuracy, forecast bias, service levels, inventory turns, and lead-time performance.
  • Proficiency in Advanced Planning Systems (APS), forecasting tools, and ERP planning modules.
  • Understanding of statistical forecasting methods and supply planning logic.
  • Experience with process mapping, workflow redesign, and planning standardization.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Strong root cause analysis and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  • Knowledge of supply chain network flows, capacity constraints, and demand-supply balancing.
  • Experience supporting supply chain transformation or continuous improvement initiatives.
