Under the direction of the Chief Engineer II, the Electronics Technician in the Facilities Management Division (FMD), Joe Serna Jr. Building / CalEPA HQ maintains, repairs, operates, replaces and installs electronic devices and systems including alarm systems, door operators, audio visual (A/V) equipment and systems and repairs less complex problems connected with a wide range of electronic equipment.

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must  be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship by the start date of employment. The Department of General Services does not  participate in E-Verify for employment authorization purposes.

Special Requirements

  • The position(s) require(s) Medical Clearance prior to being hired.

Only the most qualified candidates will be invited to an interview.
