Position Overview:

We are seeking a dependable, caring, and motivated Caregiver/Resident Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a slower‑paced, relationship‑focused environment where quality of care matters more than rushing through tasks.

You will support residents with daily living needs, promote safety and comfort, and help maintain a warm, home‑like atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility)
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare simple meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment.
• Document care notes accurately.
• Support residents with activities, routines, and appointments.
• Follow all RCFE regulations and facility policies.
• Communicate clearly with staff, residents, and families.

Requirements:

• Experience in caregiving (RCFE, assisted living, home care, or similar)
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents safely.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
• Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor.
• Ability to pass background check, TB test, and required clearances.
• Medication‑certified caregivers are a plus (but not required)
