Position Overview:

* This position requires 3 days per week on site in Somerset, NJ.

We’re looking for a talented LabVantage LIMS Consultant to join our team and deliver high quality laboratory informatics solutions to our clients. Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct thorough business analysis to gather and document user requirements, functional specifications, and system designs.

· Develop, and configure LabVantage LIMS solutions using system configuration, workflow tasks, data file definitions, event plans, and more. Use of groovy in a LabVantage context is helpful; understanding of Java and JavaScript in Labvantage is a plus.

· Design, implement and support ELN/LES functionality, including template creation, policy setup, and control configuration.

· Create and customize reports using Jaspersoft Studio and LabVantage reporting tools.

· Collaborate with client cross-functional teams to ensure successful LIMS implementations.

· Conduct training sessions and provide support to clients on LabVantage LIMS usage and administration.

· Troubleshoot and resolve LIMS operational issues.

· Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in laboratory informatics.

· Experience with both GxP and Non-GxP implementations.

· Experience validating LIMS changes in an active GxP environment. Experience with Valgenesis a plus.

· Experience with Bartender a plus.

· Develop SOPs, test scripts and installation qualification documents.

Requirements

 

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in a scientific related field.

· Minimum 3 years of experience with LabVantage LIMS implementation and customization.

· Experience with LabVantage SDMS, BarTender, and Jasper Reports.

· Familiarity with various database systems, including MSSQL Server and Oracle.

· Knowledge of infrastructure services such as JBoss, SMTP, and DNS.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members at all levels.

· Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

· Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Groovy, and SQL.

· Experience with developing and delivering technical training.
