 About Lotus Behavioral Health

Lotus Behavioral Health provides outpatient and residential treatment for adolescents and adults experiencing substance use and mental health disorders. We integrate medical care, therapy, and nutrition into each client’s individualized plan — ensuring total mind-body healing.

  Role Overview

As a  Registered Dietitian , you will work hands-on with adolescents in a residential setting, helping them develop a healthier relationship with food. You’ll lead education groups, conduct 1:1 sessions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct individual  nutrition assessments
• Assess client needs for supplements and nutritional adjustments

• Lead  interactive nutrition education groups with teens

• Collaborate with medical and clinical staff on individualized treatment plans

• Communicate with parents/guardians about client progress and post-discharge nutrition

• Respond to nutritional crises (e.g., severe restriction, purging, rapid weight loss)

• Document all assessments and interventions accurately and timely

• Maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Work with internal purchasing team and catering regarding healthy diet initiatives

 What You’ll Need

• Active RDN & LDN license in Florida

• 1–3 years’ experience with  eating disorders or adolescent mental health

• Excellent communication skills with teens and families

• Passion for trauma-informed and compassionate care

• Strong teamwork in a fast-paced setting

Bonus if You Have

• Residential or inpatient experience

• Familiarity with trauma-informed nutrition care

Compensation & Details

• $35–$40/hour (1099 Contract)

• Flexible schedule based on client needs

• Supervision provided
