Job Description

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Mechanical Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed mechanical drawings and plans that align with project specifications and client requirements. You will collaborate with engineers to bring innovative designs to life, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and prepare architectural drawings using CAD software, ensuring precision and compliance with project guidelines.
  • Collaborate with design teams to create detailed schematics for various projects.
  • Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp to produce 2D and 3D models.
  • Assist in the design process by providing input on construction methods, materials, and design aesthetics.
  • Conduct site visits to gather information and ensure designs meet site-specific conditions.
  • Revise drawings based on feedback from project managers or clients, maintaining an organized record of changes.
  • Support the preparation of presentation materials, including graphic design elements for client meetings.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and ArchiCAD.
  • Familiarity with 3D modeling tools such as SketchUp, Rhinoceros 3D, Grasshopper 3D, and SolidWorks.
  • Strong understanding of drafting techniques, construction methods, and building codes.
  • Ability to create detailed schematics and technical drawings that effectively communicate design intent.
  • Experience in graphic design principles to enhance presentation materials.
  • Knowledge of system design principles related to mechanical projects.
  • Familiarity with mechanical design concepts is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
