Join our team at North Hills Center for Dermatology, a leading dermatology practice in Pittsburgh, PA. We are seeking a Medical Assistant who is motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about patient care. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to gain valuable experience in dermatology while working in a supportive and educational environment. 

We welcome college students, recent graduates, or gap-year applicants preparing for medicine, nursing, or PA training, who want hands-on clinical experience in dermatology and procedural support.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday (Full-time, 32-40 hours/week)

Location:  North Hills Center for Dermatology. 135 Cumberland Road, Suite 206, Pittsburgh, PA 15237

Requirements

• Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs and recording medical history.
• Assist the physician during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are available.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality at all times.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage office communications.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and proper skincare practices.
• Ensure the examination rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies.
