As a Medical Records Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, accessibility, and security of patient records. You will assist in the organization and maintenance of medical documentation, supporting healthcare providers in delivering high-quality care to our patients. This position offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $88,000 annually and the chance to grow within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update patient medical records accurately and efficiently
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and privacy laws
• Assist in the organization of patient files and documentation
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate information sharing
• Respond to inquiries regarding medical records and patient information
• Perform data entry tasks related to patient records
• Assist in preparing reports and maintaining statistics
• Support the implementation of electronic health record systems

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in health information management is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health record systems
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting
• Prior experience in a medical or administrative role is a plus, but not required
