Polysomnographer / Sleep Tech Travel Assignment

Location: Medford Oregon
Contract Length: 16 Weeks
Shift: Nights 3x12s
Schedule: 6:30 PM 7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Polysomnographer / Sleep Tech for a travel assignment at a respected acute care facility in Medford Oregon. This opportunity is ideal for sleep professionals seeking a stable night-shift schedule with block scheduling available.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform overnight polysomnographic sleep studies and related diagnostic testing
• Prepare patients for sleep studies by explaining procedures and applying monitoring equipment
• Monitor and document sleep patterns brain activity oxygen saturation heart rate and respiratory functions
• Identify and respond appropriately to sleep-related events and patient safety concerns
• Troubleshoot sleep lab equipment and ensure proper device functionality
• Accurately document patient observations test results and technical data within the EMR system
• Maintain patient comfort and provide high-quality care throughout procedures
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams regarding patient care and study findings
• Follow infection control safety and facility compliance standards

Requirements

• Active Oregon Polysomnographer License required at the time of submission
• Previous Polysomnography / Sleep Tech experience required
• Prior night-shift sleep lab experience preferred
• Ability to work independently in a low patient-ratio environment
• EMR charting experience preferred
• Strong patient monitoring communication and documentation skills required
