Power BI Administrator
Location: Santa Clara, CA (Remote)
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Power BI Administrator to manage and maintain enterprise BI platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in BI platform administration, automation, and performance optimization while ensuring stability and security of reporting environments such as Microsoft Power BI , Tableau , and SAP BusinessObjects .
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and manage BI platforms including Power BI, Tableau, and SAP BusinessObjects .
Monitor platform health, performance, and system availability.
Implement automation scripts using PowerShell and Python for user onboarding, monitoring, and maintenance tasks.
Perform patch management, upgrades, and environment maintenance to ensure system stability.
Handle change management processes and coordinate deployments across environments.
Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting for BI reports, dashboards, and servers.
Manage metadata, security roles, and user access controls across BI platforms.
Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and business teams to support BI reporting needs.
Ensure best practices for governance, compliance, and platform optimization .
Required Skills:
Strong experience with Power BI administration .
Hands-on experience with Tableau and SAP BusinessObjects administration .
Experience with PowerShell and Python scripting for automation .
Knowledge of BI platform monitoring, patching, and performance tuning .
Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
