Public Insurance Adjuster
Location: California (Travel Required) Compensation: Up to $250,000+ total annual potential (DOE - base plus commission) (Must reside in Northern CA region)
The Opportunity
We are looking for a driven, experienced, and highly skilled Public Insurance Adjuster to join our top‑performing team. In this role, you will serve as the primary advocate for our clients-guiding them through the claims process, securing accurate settlements, and providing a best‑in‑class customer experience. Key Responsibilities
Lead comprehensive on‑site property inspections and accurately assess damages for both residential and commercial losses.
Analyze insurance policies to identify applicable coverages and develop strategic claim approaches.
Prepare and submit detailed claim documentation, including estimates, photographs, and proofs of loss.
Conduct settlement negotiations with insurance carrier adjusters to secure fair and accurate outcomes for clients.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing clear, proactive, and professional communication throughout the claims process.
Partner with contractors, engineers, and industry experts to support and substantiate claim findings.
Required Qualifications
Active California Public Insurance Adjuster license, or the ability to obtain one.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited four‑year institution.
Minimum of 3 years' experience managing first‑party property claims (residential, commercial, or both).
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with high‑profile clients and maintain strict professionalism.
Willingness to travel for site inspections, client meetings, and related assignments.
Successful completion of a background screening.
