Job Description

IntelliRad Imaging, LLC is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible  Diagnostic Radiologist to join our physician-owned, private practice group. Radiologist must be located in the United States or U.S. Territories. Fellowship training is preferred but not required. Expectations include interpretation of general radiology studies including MR, CT, ultrasound, radiographs, and the occasional nuclear medicine study. The majority (80%+) of the reads are x-rays and CTs.  We are looking for a full-time radiologist to work a flexible schedule of 42 weeks per year (daytime, afternoon, and evening shifts) plus some weekend call shifts. No overnights!

  • We practice at 5 hospitals in Broward and Miami-Dade Counties in Florida plus 5 freestanding emergency rooms and a few outpatient centers, all of which are affiliated with the HCA health system.
    • These 5 hospitals include 4 stroke centers and 2 trauma centers.
    • We have steadily won the contract for one additional hospital every 2 years since our founding.
  • We utilize a unified worklist with a single PACS for all cases other than mammograms.
  • We teach and manage a GME radiology residency program at Aventura Hospital ( with 22 residents (growing to 28 by 2027).
  • We internally employ all physicians and do not utilize any teleradiology companies.

IntelliRad is very excited about our new PACS. This new artificial intelligence-supported and -driven unified PACS is slated to go live in spring 2026! This platform utilizes AI-driven voice recognition and templates to decrease physician burnout, decrease physician exhaustion, and potentially increase physician productivity.

Salary info:

  • Competitive base plus productivity bonuses

Shift info: Remote Full-Time (42 Weeks)

  • 42 weeks of Monday-Friday shifts (7- or 8-hour shifts)
    • No overnights
    • Shift times will vary each day or week based on the group's needs but shifts range from 730a-330p to 4p-11p
    • Physician may request specific shifts as needed
  • 10 weeks of vacation 
  • Q4 weekend call schedule

Minimum Qualifications include:

  • ABMS-BC/BE in Radiology by the American Board of Radiology
  • MD or DO diploma 
  • If board eligible, must have a plan in place to sit for Boards
  • Active and unencumbered medical license with eligibility for licensure in Florida
  • Eligibility and ability to obtain DEA license in Florida
  • Competent in all aspects of diagnostic radiology
  • Articulate communicator
  • Live within the U.S. or U.S. territories
