Key Responsibilities: KBR is seeking a
Security Lead Assessor. A Security Control Assessor (SCA) will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive assessment of the management, operational, and technical security controls employed within or inherited throughout the cybersecurity lifecycle for Information System (IS) services to determine the overall effectiveness of the controls. You will provide an assessment of the severity of weaknesses or deficiencies discovered in the IS and its environment of operation and recommend corrective actions to address identified vulnerabilities. Responsibilities will cover Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) activities within the customer's area of responsibility.
Work Environment: - Location: On-site/JBAB
- Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%

Qualifications: Required: - 10+ years' of related technical implementation experience.
- Experience with security assessments for information systems and cloud environments.
- Experience ensuring compliance with security policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver engineering solutions that satisfy pre-defined functional and user requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to perform oversight of the development, implementation, evaluation and integration of SAP network infrastructures, information systems and cloud environments.
- Demonstrated ability to perform risk assessments of SAP and SCI networks and cloud environment that utilizes a Cross Domain Solution for the transfer of sensitive data.
- A successful candidate should be a self-starter who possesses initiative, excellent communication skills, the ability to lead diverse teams, to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and a proven problem solver
- Must have an active U.S. government TS/SCI security clearance
Desired: - Demonstrated ability to work well independently or as a team member.
- Demonstrated ability to drive projects to closure and to assimilate and correlate project information in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage simultaneous projects in a dynamic, agile work environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to clearly translate technical needs into technical specifications
- Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical project teams.
- Experience with: Special Access Programs, software engineering, system administration, system security engineering, JSIG, NIST 800-53, ICD 503, RMF
- CISSP
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40hrs
Salary for DC Compensation is $160-185K
