Primary Care Sports Medicine Physician Opportunity with Kaiser Permanente in Northern California Leading the future of health care Kaiser Permanente / The Permanente Medical Group The Permanente Medical Group, Inc. PRIMARY CARE SPORTS MEDICINE PHYSICIAN Opening in San Jose, California POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

• Will be the lead PCSM physician for the San Jose Sharks as well as its AHL affiliate, the San Jose Barracuda.  Responsible for game coverage of the Sharks as well as medical care to all the athletes of both teams
• Responsible to oversee concussion care for the Sharks and Barracuda
• Full-time position practicing full-scope PCSM within an Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Department
• No call responsibilities, no Urgent Care shifts
• Family Medicine or Internal Medicine training and Sports Medicine Fellowship required
• Department has three other Sports Medicine physicians as well as four sports-trained Orthopedic surgeons
• Full spectrum ultrasound procedures are supported with a strong referral base from a department of over 20 providers (physicians and PAs)
• Significant opportunity exists for resident education (we have a Family Medicine residency, and the residents rotate within our department for their sports medicine training)

Full-time annual salary range is $325,920 to $336,000  plus additional potential incentives up to $25,300*.  Reduced schedules with pro-rated compensation may be available. *Some incentive opportunities are estimates based on potential premium pay.
