Job Description

Salary: $83,000 - 123,000 per year Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in ServiceNow development, focusing on system configuration and scripting.
  • Active certifications as a Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD).
  • Proven ability to configure and deliver Service Catalog items and complex workflows.
  • Proficiency in IT Service Management (ITSM) and Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD) modules.
  • Experience with Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and IT Asset Management use cases.
  • Strong understanding of Access Control Rules (ACLs), form-level, and field-level security.
  • Hands-on experience with Discovery configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with integrations using REST, SOAP, and MID servers.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation abilities.
  • Resides in the DC, Maryland, or Virginia area (preferred).
  • Experience in agile development settings (preferred).
  • Familiarity with other ServiceNow modules such as Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), Public Sector Data Services (PSDS), Hardware Asset Management (HAM), or Software Asset Management (SAM) (preferred).
Responsibilities:
  • Develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications, focusing on Service Catalogs and Request Workflows related to ITSM and HRSD modules.
  • Write and uphold clean, efficient scripts employing JavaScript, Flow Designer, and Business Rules.
  • Collaborate with various teams to gather and translate requirements into effective ServiceNow solutions.
  • Stay informed about ServiceNow platform upgrades, new features, and industry best practices.
  • Provide technical support and training sessions for platform users as required.
  • Implement and troubleshoot Access Control Rules (ACLs) to enable secure, role-based access.
  • Configure and support ServiceNow Discovery to automate asset and service mapping processes.
