Shipper Details:
1) Plate appearance / Grinding
• All edges ground and plates surfaces reasonably clean prior to shipment.
2) Quality Control
• The shipping department is the final inspection on all material prior to shipping to the customer.
• Check all parts versus tolerances on BTs/drawings to ensure compliance. If questionable, contact QA for disposition.
• Do not ship questionable material. Obtain approval.
3) Shipping Functions
• Log in all items that arrive in shipping.
• Pick up items from the various machines and bring to shipping.
• Communicate shortage issues to the Shipping Supervisor
• Ensure proper packaging and documentation is completed for each order.
• Prepare shipping paperwork
• Load trucks as directed by the driver.
• Return shipping paperwork to your shipping supervisor.
Shipper Qualifications:
Prior experience
