Trading Associate

Reports to: Director of Trading and Reporting
Status : Exempt
Remote or Hybrid 

Apollon Wealth Management is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Trading Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trading, model building, and exceptional proficiency with Orion/Eclipse.

Responsibilities:

• Execute trades using Eclipse and ASTRO
• Develop and maintain investment models within Eclipse and ASTRO
• Collaborate with advisors to create custom investment models tailored to client needs
• Analyze and address tax implications associated with trades
• Prepare and maintain monthly trade reports from various custodians
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Generate custom reports in Orion
• Provide exceptional customer service to advisors and clients using Orion
• Address inquiries, resolve issues, and offer guidance on investment-related matters

Minimum Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance Preferred
• Required Series 65 or 66

Skills and Experience:

• Experience in Orion Advisor Services
• 1-3 years of experience in ASTRO and Eclipse
• 1-3 years of experience in trading in Orion / Eclipse
• Knowledge of different custodian platforms
• Reconciling and correcting accounts
• Gathering and compiling information
• Read, interpret, analyze and apply transaction information
• Intermediate level in Excel

Experience in Orion Advisor Services preferred
