Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Utica, NY. This is a travel, temporary assignment starting April 27, 2026 for 13 weeks in a Skilled Nursing Facility with a 40-bed unit. Shift is an 8-hour evening schedule: 2:30 p.m.–10:30 p.m. Weekly pay range is $1,432–$1,505 per week, with 37.5 guaranteed hours per week. The role supports residents with MS, ortho, dementia, and memory care needs; EMR is PointClickCare. Active New York LPN license and BLS certification are required, along with a minimum of 1 year of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing. Local candidates within 75 miles may qualify for the local rate.

Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to assigned residents under supervision, including medication administration per physician orders
- Monitor resident status, identify changes, and document in PointClickCare EMR; report findings to the nursing team
- Perform routine assessments, wound care, and treatment administration as prescribed
- Float to all units within the facility as needed to support patient care and coverage
- Support residents with activities of daily living and dementia/memory care needs; promote safety and comfort
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and family when appropriate

Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with an active New York license
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing
- Proficiency with PointClickCare or willingness to learn
- Ability to float to all units within the building
- Education: Practical nursing diploma/certificate from an accredited program
- Available to work the evening shift and participate in a travel assignment as described
- Local travel within 75 miles may be eligible for local rate
