Club Z! is a national tutoring company. We take pride in matching tutors with students based on individual needs and qualifications. We utilize the student's classroom curriculum as well as offer study skills & test prep programs. We are a team of education enthusiasts. Our mission is to help students achieve their goals and reach their highest potential!

We are seeking a tutor specialized in High School level AP Science and Math curriculums, and who could also support reading/writing. This is a part time contracted position starting at $22-$25/hour.

PLEASE NOTE: This position is in-person tutoring within the student’s home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one tutoring
• Conduct tutoring sessions at students’ homes, public locations, or virtually as per the student’s preference.
• Develop personalized learning plans with the student to help them achieve their academic goals.
• Maintain open communication with parents/caregivers and provide weekly session reports.
• Engage with students to understand their unique learning styles and challenges and adapt your teaching methods accordingly.

Qualifications:

• Experience and Education:
• Minimum of one year tutoring or teaching experience
• Strong background in the subject areas you wish to tutor
• Minimum of AA Degree. Preference shown to candidates with Teaching Certificate or BA and above
• Local School District Experience: Highly valued, especially if you have experience within the Nevada school district system.
• Personal Qualities: Patience, kindness, and excellent communication skills are essential. A genuine passion for teaching is a must.
• Reliability: Must have reliable transportation and pass a standard background check.
