Job Description

Position Summary:

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound shipments, inventory management, and team supervision. This role ensures products are received, stored, and shipped accurately while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.

The Warehouse Lead works closely with the Operations Manager to oversee staff, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure company standards and customer requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities

Inbound and Outbound Shipments

· Oversee and assist with unloading and receiving inbound container shipments.

· Inspect incoming products for quality and document any damages.

· Receive products into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and ensure inventory is stored in the correct bin locations.

· Pick, pack, and ship wholesale and direct-to-consumer orders using the WMS.

· Ensure orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and on time.

Team Supervision

· Direct and supervise warehouse team members as instructed by the Operations Manager.

· Lead by example to promote teamwork, accountability, and company values.

· Train staff on receiving, handling, storing, inventory processes, and shipping procedures.

· Assist with planning staffing needs, including coordinating contract labor when needed.

· Report workplace issues, safety concerns, or injuries and assist with investigations when required.

Warehouse Operations

· Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment in compliance with company standards and safety regulations.

· Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts and physical inventory checks.

· Report inventory discrepancies or damaged products.

· Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.

· Perform additional duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.

Qualifications

· High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

· Forklift certification and experience required.

· Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for receiving and shipping.

· Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.

· Strong organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.

· Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

· Commitment to teamwork and maintaining open, honest communication and feedback.
