Job Summary

The Warehouse Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the warehouse facility, including dry storage, cooler, and freezer areas. This role may also provide cleaning support in office spaces as assigned. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and able to work in varying temperature conditions.

Job Description

• Perform general janitorial and sanitation duties throughout the warehouse facility, including dry, refrigerated, and freezer areas.
• Complete routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, dusting, mopping, and trash removal.
  
• Operate trash compactors and ensure proper disposal of refuse and recyclable materials.
  
• Use pallet jacks to transport refuse/trash to designated receptacles as needed.
  
• Maintain cleanliness in office areas when assigned.
  
• Handle and use cleaning chemicals safely and in accordance with company guidelines.
  
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
  
• Complete additional duties as assigned based on business needs.

Skills Required

• Previous janitorial or warehouse cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack (or willingness to be trained).
  
• Ability to work safely with cleaning chemicals.
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
  
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

Education

• High School Diploma

Pay Rate

• $18.50 per h our (Compensation is offered based on experience, skills, and market factors)
