Job Description
The Lumber Yard Worker and Driver is responsible for providing excellent customer service while safely loading a customer’s vehicle with products purchased from Bolster Hardware. The products should be loaded safely and efficiently while being a positive representative of Bolster’s Hardware.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned by management.
Loading and unloading delivery trucks and verifying that the paperwork is accurate and complete.
Drivers will be using dump bed and manually hand unloading deliveries to customers.
Keeping the Work Yard clean and safe from hazards.
Greet customers throughout the store and Yard. Thank customers when finished and when they are leaving the store.
Possess a friendly outgoing demeanor, work well with customers as well as associates.
Operate forklift with proper training and certification.
Assist in creating a positive, professional, and safe working environment.
Possess a strong knowledge of the yard inventory and location.
Assist customers throughout the location providing customized service with the intention of amazing every customer every time.
Physical Demands
Lifting weights up to 90 lbs.
Working in climates
Ability to work on your feet for long periods of time.
