Job Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Perform production tasks including assembly of mechanical and electrical sub-components and final machine assembly
  • Complete in-process and final acceptance testing to validate products meet operational expectations
  • Operate industrial equipment including forklifts and production support equipment (training available)
  • Work cooperatively in a team environment, maintaining high Safety and Quality standards
  • Complete assigned production documentation
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement activities
  • Assist with training other production team members
  • Perform general shop duties as assigned and assist in other areas as workload allows

Job Requirements

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • High School Diploma/GED OR equivalent experience
  • Uncompromising attitude toward safety, customer service and quality
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools
  • Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Basic electrical knowledge and familiarity with electrical components preferred
  • Physically able to lift up to 25 pounds unassisted; lift/move up to 50 pounds with assitance
  • Well-organized with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work overtime and Saturdays when necessary

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • 1-3 years of Assembly experience

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration, airborne particles, and machine lubricants and chemicals used in cleaning processes. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
