POSITION DESCRIPTION

These support efforts will provide services as an Executive Advisor to HQ/NA 24. Support tasks can include but not limited to Part 810 change efforts and strategic advisory services to the Assistant Deputy Administrator. 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Typically an advance degree and experience –

• PhD degree and about 15 years experience, OR
• MS degree and 17 years experience, OR
• BS degree and about 21 years experience.

  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior experience in Nuclear Nonproliferation. 
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Ability to work in a diverse work environment.
• Satisfactory results of a pre-employment screening, which includes a background check and drug screening in accordance with Federal requirements (details below),
• Ability to fulfill and promote L&A core values.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Able to perform weekly field walkdowns of the job sites for the engineering work being performed. These walkdowns may involve construction sites with uneven surfaces and work in progress, climbing of ladders to access remote areas, dressing out in protective clothing.
• Candidates who have possessed an active DOE clearance (Lor Q) within the past two (2) years are preferred.
