Job Title: Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)

Location: Multiple Metro Detroit locations (including Southfield, Royal Oak, Ferndale, and surrounding areas)

Schedule: Full-Time | Hybrid

Position Overview

A growing healthcare organization is seeking a dedicated Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to provide high-quality, patient-centered behavioral health services. This role focuses on supporting individuals and families navigating mental health conditions, substance use challenges, and behavioral health crises.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, clinically strong, and experienced in delivering evidence-based interventions across diverse populations.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Services

  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.

  • Provide outpatient therapy services for adults and/or children.

  • Deliver crisis intervention and stabilization support as needed.

Collaboration & Care Coordination

  • Partner with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure integrated care.

  • Connect patients to appropriate community-based mental health and public health resources.

  • Advocate for patients and families to promote continuity of care.

Documentation & Case Management

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, progress notes, and care plans.

  • Monitor patient outcomes and adjust interventions accordingly.

  • Prepare case summaries and discharge planning documentation.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work or related behavioral health field.

  • Active LMSW licensure required.

  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience working with behavioral health populations.

  • Experience conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, delivering therapy, and managing crisis situations.

Core Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to make sound clinical decisions in high-pressure situations.

  • Skilled in care coordination and community resource navigation.
