The Paranormal Investigator will guide and share their investigative techniques with our guests during an investigation tour at 416 W Liberty. Entertain our guests with the building's history and stories of the spirits that are said to reside there. Maintain a professional and engaging manner.

REQUIREMENTS

Essential Functions

  • Present historically accurate information in an entertaining manner several times a work shift, in a loud audible voice without amplification.
  • Provide and train guests on how to use an array of traditional and state-of-the-art ghost hunting equipment.
  • Share paranormal investigative techniques with guests to prepare them for any strange and peculiar phenomena they may encounter.
  • Guide a group of guests on the paranormal investigative tour experience.
  • At the conclusion of the investigation, share experiences from other guests on tour. Help the guest understand any paranormal or psychic phenomena they may have experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to work independently over long periods of time or as part of a team within the scope of established rules and regulations
  • Ability to read, write and speak fluent English in order to communicate with fellow employees and the general public
  • Ability to memorize historical details and relay the stories in an entertaining manner
  • Ability to be heard in a loud, audible voice.
  • Ability to use and teach others to use paranormal investigative techniques and equipment.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Strong interest in the paranormal and Savannah history preferred
  • Prior performance or interpretation experience preferred

Other Requirements

  • Must pass pre-employment background check and substance abuse testing
  • Have a passion for helping people and making their Savannah experience a memorable one.
